Hell Richards Probably what the weird shadow being was that I saw with my brother (aged nine and seven respectively) in our old, new build house.
Hell Richards My favourite part of the autopsy is taking out and inspecting the organs for a cause of death or lifestyle damage.
Though it makes it so much easier when they finally stop squirming.
Hell Richards In my spare time I spend a lot of time delving into Marvel's version of Asgard, so I guess I'd love to go there.
Meet some Gods, maybe share a drink with Thor and have a chat with Loki (hopefully without being trickerd), have some tea with Frigga.
Try and butter my way into being given my own goddess title.
Hell Richards Oh my, that's honestly a massive list.
I'm currently reading Doll Bones by Holly Black, The Killing House by Chris Mooney and One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus.
Though The Battle for Perfect by Helena Duggan is staring at me, begging to be read.
Hell Richards I had been building up these short horror stories for years before finally deciding to get them published (and after a lot of pushing from friends and family.)
So I guess most of my ideas came from creepypastas and my favourite myths and legends from around the globe.
Hell Richards Inspiration for my stories come from random tidbits of information I find that I can twist into its own little tale.
In my book I have one story that was inspired purely by a woman who kept kicking the back of my seat whilst I was trying to watch A Cure for Wellness.
Another was inspired by a short conversation I read on a blog about an actor who got catfished reportedly three times.
You just never know when inspiration is going to jump out at you or how that inspiration is going to be twisted.
Hell Richards Mostly fan-fiction right now!
I have my Crimson Peak unofficial sequel The New Estate and some Supernatural stories going on.
Non-fandom wise it's mostly more short horror stories, including some more secretive projects going on with some friends of mine that I dare not reveal too much about.
Hell Richards I don't come across it often, as I have so many stories of varying types, subjects and genres going at once, but if I feel truly stuck on them all then I take a step back, partake in some other hobbies and let the flow come back naturally.
It all takes its due course and can take days to weeks to months, but it makes the rush of the stories flowing back so invigorating.
Hell Richards The best thing about being a writer is just getting the chance to unleash some of the most weird, dark or even completely random parts of you with no reserve. It's freeing in the most magnificent way.
Hell Richards My advice to aspiring writers, both serious and purely fandom based, is to write for yourself.
Writing for yourself is so much easier and a lot more fun than trying to please a mass crowd.
Over my time online I've encountered far too many people who seem to be in it for the popularity, likes or comments and from what I've witnessed that leads to a lot of slow updates or reports of lack of motivation. (Obviously it's a personal thing, but sometimes patterns are easy to spot.)
When writing for yourself there's no rush, the story is for you and if others enjoy what you have shared at your own pace then honestly, I feel at least, it makes every read, like and even the rare comment mean so much more.
