The Personification of Beauty just popped into my head. I like to call that advice and guidance from the Holy Spirit. I was reading Think and Grow Rich at the time. At the same time that I thought of doing a collaboration with 2 other authors is the same time that I got to the chapter on collaboration. I took that as a sign.
The book evolved as we wrote. I chose 2 authors, explained the purpose and theme, we decided the chapters, split them up, met every Thursday night over the computer and 3 months later we had a book.
It turns out we have many things in common that we were unaware of... the relationship with our mothers, and sexual assault.

My emails, writings, and speeches always seem to get people emotional even when unintended.
It is a gift I have. My aunt Minnie suggested I write a book while I was deployed in Iraq in 2004-2005. I didn't write a book for another 13 years but the seed was planted. One day I was called to start so I did.

I have many books coming out this year. My next release is I Wrote This While Sipping Tequilla: Relax and Have a Sip.
Its fun and relaxing. The idea is to create a book teaching methods to overcome negative behaviors and characteristics like anxiety, fear, worry, and to back it up with the word of God.
It doesn't promote alcoholism, the title is for fun but it implies rest. By rest, I mean mental rest.

Just start writing.
I recommend writing your authors bio, ideas for your cover and the blurb for the back of the book. Once that is done and you have a title you can find a designer to do your cover.
With your bio and cover done you'll be motivated to get started.

The best thing about being a writer is helping other people through something. It is confirmation that God is using me and my works to help others or to advance the Kingdom.
It is also therapy for myself. It helps me understand what I may be going through, overcome it and help others do the same.

Hi!
Writer's block is a result of a lack of guidance and or a plan. To prevent writer's block I write out the purpose of the book, write out all of my intended chapters and then I write the purpose of each chapter. Once I know what I'm writing about and why I write subtopics for each chapter.
I do change this as I go but its a start to prevent writer's block.
Thanks for asking!
