Charlie Smith The excuse to spend all day in magical worlds in your head while sipping expensive coffee and ignoring real life. Also, people watching at the cafe.
Charlie Smith Knowing when it was finished. There were a few stories we added in and a few we took out. Deciding when we were THERE - that was hard. Always feels like there is something more to be done, to look at, to change.
Charlie Smith I have a lot of influences but I feel like Terry Pratchett has inspired me in so many ways especially in the genre of fantasy. I should credit a lot of people here but for now I shall just mention Sir T.P. <3
Charlie Smith Change the space you're in, change the music you're listening to, write something else and silly. If you're blocked midway through a project sometimes its because something isn't write earlier on. Listen to you gut and your characters.

Charlie Smith I am currently working on a project called "Of Orphans and Adventures" which is a collection of short stories collected from the Dungeons and Dragons community about their characters.
Strange Birds (my first full novel) is still being worked on too as well as a number of other smaller writing projects.
