How do you get inspired to write?
A.M. Macdonald By listening to any cyberpunk, usually trance or synthwave, and letting the words come.

A.M. Macdonald I am in no way in a position to provide writing advice.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
A.M. Macdonald For me it's the validation from a single positive review. I write so that others will enjoy, because I have so much fun with all of the ideas in my head.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
A.M. Macdonald I write something else, which has the unfortunate side effect of propelling me into a new story. The process repeats, and I end up with n+1 unfinished manuscripts, like some fractal joke.

I was thinking about something about Dybsy. Now that the crypto craze is going bananas and Dybsy probably has 10x more wealth in gaming championships in bitcoins that what his parents will ever earn as doctors, have you thought of promoting this book's comical bitcoin one liners? The hidden humor could grab a lot of potential readers for the bitcoin skeptics. Cheers and Merry Xmas.
A.M. Macdonald Hey Nancy - I've thought about it, but I don't really know how to actualize the thought. I gave up on any sort of promotion other than my automated Amazon marketing. I think the problem is that the book's target market is t teenage videogamers, and teenage videogamers want to spend their time playing videogames, not reading.

What are you currently working on?
A.M. Macdonald I'm currently working on Book 1 of an epic fantasy trilogy. I've got a loose plot that spans three books, and I've plotted the first book in detail. I'd say I'm about 25% of the way through a first draft.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
A.M. Macdonald While in bed reading Reddit, specifically a news story about string theory and the potential for our universe to be a holographic projection of the first dimension. I had been searching for a good foundation for a video game story and BAM, there it was.
