I work on several projects a once. For example, While editing DEADLY COMPULSION, I was writing HOT FLASH DIVAS, which will be published May, 2017. I also began DEADLY LESSON, at the same time. When I needed time away from one book, I switched to another. This seems to prevent me from developing writers block.

Freedom. When I had my private practice open I was scheduled every hour, five days a week. To travel, I had to schedule in advance so my patients could be forewarned and set up emergency on-call mental health professionals to cover for me while I was gone on vacation. Now, I pack my IPAD mini and a keyboard and can go.

Don't give up. From the time I started writing Deadly Compulsion to the time I was offered two publishing contracts within days of each other was ten years. While I was trying to get my first book published, I was continuing to write. I wrote "Hot Flash Divas" which will come out the end of May, 2017. Discipline yourself to write daily and keep writing.
