Lord Peter Whimsy and Harriet Vane. Smart, tough, emotionally broken but ethically solid, and maintaining a sense of humor even when things are utterly horrible. I didn't want to be either one of them when I grew up, but I wanted to find people exactly like them to hang out with.

It's far more likely that I will be self-publishing more Cosa Nostradamus stories (shorts and novellas) going forward.

If you want to start at the very beginning, that would be STAYING DEAD. It introduces Wren Valere and the entire Cosa Nostradamus.

I'm afraid that the four books are all that are planned...at the moment (my publisher decided they didn't want any more, and had me write the Portals duology instead - HEART OF BRIAR/SOUL OF FIRE).
However, it's not the last we'll see of Bonnie and her crew! The novella series "Sylvan Investigations" continues the story of the Cosa Nostradamus in NYC, starting with MILES TO GO and PROMISES TO KEEP, with THE WORK OF HUNTERS and AN INTERRUPTED CRY coming in 2015.
