We liked spending time together laughing. Also, like any other creative pursuit, it's deeply fulfilling to make something out of nothing. We were never bored during the writing and editing process because we could plop ourselves down in a Dublin pub and let our characters entertain us. (If only they could have cleaned our houses for us, too!)

Find a writing partner and invite the muse while enjoying a favorite beverage in comfy clothes. Self-imposed deadlines kept us chuggin' along. Also, remember that re-writing is your friend; that's when the magic happens.

Both Cecelia and Kathryn have spent a lot of time in Ireland. When Kathryn was living in Dublin and a bad bloke committed a crime against a lad with special needs, the incident remained in her heart. The authors sat down together to write a story about the goings-on in the neighborhood where this lad lived.
