C.K. MacDonald Take a break from writing--go for a walk, gab with a friend, read a favorite author or reach for a snack. (Carbs fuel the imagination--especially scones!) And then duct tape your fingers to the keyboard.
C.K. MacDonald We liked spending time together laughing. Also, like any other creative pursuit, it's deeply fulfilling to make something out of nothing. We were never bored during the writing and editing process because we could plop ourselves down in a Dublin pub and let our characters entertain us. (If only they could have cleaned our houses for us, too!)
