I read a lot of different genres. So far I have Cycle of Fire by DK Holmberg, Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Claire, The Darkest Night by Michael Anderle, The Ultimate Agent by Derek Bourne, Awaken, Activated, and Called by Ell Leigh Clarke, Crowns Shield by Frost Kay, Use of Force by Brad Thor, House of Spies by Daniel Silva, Defender by S.T. Bende and Leia Stone. I sure there will be many others for me to try and fit in while I'm busy going over the final edits for Book of Souls.

I have always been intrigued by the Mayans and their history. I just thought I'd add a supernatural feel to it as well as bring it into the 21st century.

I get inspiration from the authors that I like to read as well as from my many years of playing the table top RPG's, you know the ones with paper, dice, and your imagination. i.e. Dungeons & Dragons and others like it.
