I'm currently writing the prequel to 'Someone Else's Life,' set ten years previously, called 'Our Jilly.' Only about nine chapters in, but already happy to be bringing in characters and developing their traits and I'm enjoying it!

I've asked a few authors this myself, and I agree with their answer. You get to play God. That character annoying you? Kill 'em off! It's fun just being able to control other people's lives. Especially if they're based on real people, haha!

I just force myself to write. Even if it's a mess and gets deleted. I also consult my notes to see what I have to do with the story

I'm currently nearly finished Brian McGilloway's DS Lucy Black debut 'Little Girl Lost.' Then, I'm afraid, my TBR pile is too big. So I'm going to have to get stuck in. I will just have to have a read at blurbs and see what instantly catches my attention.
