Writer's block is mostly just me whining "but I don't wanna". Since most of my writing for the past fifteen years has been in the nonprofit field in terms of newsletters, blogs, and other promotional materials, I found I would put it off as long as I could, but—once that deadline hit and there were no more excuses—suddenly I was able to write. I found the same on my first fiction book, which I'm struggling now to finish...and I know it's only because I'm allowing myself to get away with it. Can I borrow someone's whip? Ha!

I'm currently writing my first fiction book, and hope to have it out in March. It's this first in a young adult paranormal series, and it's based on the work I did in the nonprofit field for chained dogs. I'm excited by it! I'll be posting the cover in my blog this week.
