My most recent book is solely based on heartbreak and memories that I have been holding on to for too long. Pain and emotions that I was eager to express. Table for One really showed me the importance of sitting alone and accepting time to myself. Ive always been the type to want company but i needed this space and my book explains this.

I think what we go through whether good or bad, set the tone for our inspiration in writing. I try not to get to caught up in the idea that my writing needs to be complex or something deep. Not everyone will understand it but some will. I learn to set my expectations at a reasonable height. But the more I go through the more inspirations transpires for me to express it on paper.

Well, as mentioned in my Bio, I have self-published my first collection of poetry and I am working on publishing Volume 2. Everyday I continue to write and now more geared to having a positive mind and more honest with daily thoughts that run through my mind.

My advice is no long answer other than to never STOP. Writing is a process and remember that it is for you ultimately. As you write, make sure it reaches deep into your heart - knowing that will always leave you satisfied and it will reach others in due time.

I have had writers block plenty of times in the past but what helps me is to look for something to write on the daily. I've been heavily involved in writing prompts through social media. This is not only kept my writing fresh, but alos introduced me to different ways of writing poetry.
