What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Meghan Hansen Just write. Don't worry about who will love your writing or who wil hate it. If you're meant to have an audience, you will. But don't think about an audience. Focus and believe in your story and those who are supposed to read it, will.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Meghan Hansen I can write anytime - the middle of the night or the middle of the day. Writing is flexible and in some ways, it brings me peace of mind.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Meghan Hansen I didn't want to write this book, but a few of my friends whom have heard the story insisted that it's an important conversation to document.
