Kate Bowen I think the best thing is putting to words the stories that swim around in my head... it almost makes them real.
Kate Bowen Read Stephen King's "On Writing" and Elizabeth Gilbert's "Big Magic." Also, believe you CAN... and work your tail off.
Kate Bowen I'm currently in the first draft stage of a second book- a romance separate from Macbeth & MacGregor. I'm also working on an album as a songwriter.
Kate Bowen I try to write 1,000 words every weekday, no matter if I'm feeling like it or not! Sometimes, if I'm feeling uninspired, I go on a walk or a drive and listen to music that reminds me of my characters' situation.
Kate Bowen I got the idea for Macbeth & MacGregor on a trip to Scotland that was partially time working as a songwriter and partially my belated honeymoon. Through the experiences I had with some close friends, along with the people I met, the story was born!
