I'd go to the Two Rivers in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. It just seems as though everyone born there is destined to be someone important. I want to know what's in the water.

The biggest challenge I faced was a lack of confidence. When I read my own work, particularly early on, I would close the laptop and think, "this is nowhere near as good as it needs to be." Two things helped me overcome the issue. 1. Feedback from readers who told me my work was 'Brilliant.' 2. The realization that early drafts are meant to be S@#%.
