I got the idea from observing the life around me. By analysing the lives and circumstances of people living with mental illnesses, and how society perceives them. I have a brother who copes with a mental illness and my novel is dedicated to him and all that are affected.

My advice would be to just start writing - do not think too much about fit, structure or perfection. You will have time to 'perfect' things later. And do get your work edited, no matter how good you think you may be at writing or editing yourself.

Hallo and thanks for your question.
For me the best thing about being a writer is that I am in a position to share my ideas, stories, and perspectives - and hopefully inspire, heal and build.

Hello and thank you for the question.
I have a fulltime job and it is not easy for me to recognise writer's block when it happens. When I feel inspired to write, I would write. When I'm working on a book and I have time to write, I just write. So I would say so far I have not experienced it.
