Ben Follows I write 2000 words a day, no matter what. Sometimes it sucks, but sometimes it isn't. You need to get through the terrible writing to get to the good writing.
Ben Follows Read a lot and write a lot. Don't worry if the stuff you write at the start isn't good. Everyone was terrible when they started. In terms of books to check out, I'd reccomend On Writing by Stephen King, Into the Woods by Thom Yorke, and Zen in the Art of Writing by Ray Bradbury.
Ben Follows I like being able to create stories and hearing from people who enjoyed them. Nothing makes me happier than hearing from someone who loved reading one of my books.
Ben Follows In my experience, Writer's Block has to do with the pressure you put on yourself to produce great work. If you lower your expectations and let yourself write a few pages of garbage, then you will find that you can get back into a writing grove.
