Inspiration comes from great ideas, so if I have an idea for a character, plot, setting, storyline that I really get excited about I have to get a manuscript outline down immediately. Currently I have 15 outlines for different books, some will make it through my creative process and become books - others will probably end up in File #13.

Writers block, well I am sure I will experience the dread of this someday, but thankfully I have not yet. I will say that my best writing days are the days I start with an 8:30 am yoga class. So, if writer's block ever does interfere with my creative process - yoga it is!

Write! Write for yourself, what you are passionate about. Don't try to be the next....just be you. Write often, get into a routine where writing becomes part of your everyday life. Read! When you are not writing, read and not always in your chosen genre, reading other authors from other genres broadens your scope of understanding the fundamentals of writing and how unique writers can be. It can help you better develop your ability as a writer and ignite creativity.

Currently I am reading the "All Souls Trilogy" by Deborah Harkness and "The Ocean at the End of the Lane" by Neil Gaiman. Waiting in line I have Nora Robert's "Dark Witch," Robert Bryndza's "The Girl in the Ice," and "The Magnolia Story" by Chip and Joanna Gaines.
