David S. Cross As usual, poetry makes up much of my output. I'm putting them on paper as they come to me; a few each week. I'm also working on a few short stories. A couple were written previously and are now getting some fine tuning while a couple others are entirely new works.

I also recently completed a series of rewrites on a manuscript intended to be an illustrated book for children. I'm shopping that around now to some publishers. If this connects I've got a couple non-fiction works I'd like to work on this year and next.
David S. Cross Not sure I've really ever dealt with this. I tend to go through periods with little, to no, output but I believe these to be cases where I have tuned out the usual signals that inform my writing.

Other times I'll be writing but it doesn't feel "right". At those times I just stop. So, I guess that's my strategy: take a break. Effective only if you have no deadlines!
