I honestly don't think it came from anywhere specifically. The Good Race sort of popped in there, but The Guardian started out as a really crazy dream I had one night after I took Melatonin to help me sleep.

I live my life. Inspiration comes from everywhere. It also comes from reading a lot.

I'm working on two things. Edits to the first book in my fantasy series called The Guardian that is coming soon, hopefully this year, from Raconteur Books, and the second book in the Grayson Falls series.

Don't give up. Don't EVER give up. Every author you love and respect has been rejected. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone got rejected over 60 times. If you truly believe in your story, don't ever stop knocking on doors. Sooner or later, you'll come across someone else that does, too.

I'm catching up on books I've missed from Tawna Fenske, Mary Burton, and Pamela Clare. I've got a beach vacation coming up and I'm bringing Julie Garwood's Wired, Nora Roberts's Come Sundown, and Kate Quinn's The Alice Network.
