It embraces the Maori culture and introduces a girl named Lily who is on the autistic spectrum with a passion to learn how to read. Lindie Lou and I traveled all the time visiting family across the USA. I wanted to share my friend Rhonda, who is in the book, with the kids as she is so full of life. Rhonda grew up on a big farm in Iowa and I thought it would so much fun to help kids understand the importance of farming. So I brought Lindie Lou and the story of the farm together so kids could experience a wonderful learning adventure.
