Hi. I'm so sorry. I missed your question!! Yes, I do. My daughter had an addiction problem for over thirty years. She had finally gone to a rehab program when she was forty-two and had gotten clean. I had no idea that she had relapsed and died from a fentanyl overdose in February 2020. I wrote the book to educate parents about drugs, prevention and interventions. There are resources for parents also. I wish these things had been available years ago. I also shared some personal stories about her in the book and on the website: https://herstarforevershines.wordpres...
Thank you and again, I'm sorry I missed the question.

That's a good question. I'm not sure that I have a mystery per se. If I were to use my life in a novel, it would be one that addresses family dysfunction over the generations. Maybe I'd weave a mystery in it to make it more exciting, rather than just the jealousy and nastiness that it was. How would that be?

Thank you for your question, Jody. One of the reasons that I write is because it is a passion of mine. Along with providing a good story, I want my books to give hope and inspiration to people on problems that we all face in life. Some of the issues I have written about are loss and the resolution of grief, substance abuse, suicide, family support, and other concerns that we encounter in our lives.
