I re-read some favorites, specifically Anne Bishop's Other series, and did some research for a WIP by reading up on the Romanovs, WWI, and Serbia pre-World War I.

I get inspired by asking questions. What if this happened? What would a world be like where this was the norm? I usually follow those questions to build a world that explores those questions and incorporates our current political, social, environmental, and economic questions.

I was inspired by a #mswl for a fairy tale retelling with a twist. 1,001 Days, a retelling of the framing story of 1,001 Nights or Arabian Nights, will be available next year!
