Ashley Bogner First I would go to Narnia (obviously), then the Realm (from The Door Within Trilogy), then the Star Wars galaxy (hey, there's novelizations)...

I might be gone awhile.
Ashley Bogner Nothing exact yet, but I'm planning for a release date in August. I'm almost finished with edits, which means my proofreaders just need to do a final look through. Then it's on to the fun stuff like formatting and cover design!
Ashley Bogner Yes, I love Narnia! :D The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is my favorite, followed closely by Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

What's yours?
Ashley Bogner Reintegration is the first book of a trilogy! The second is scheduled for release in 2018. I can't wait for everyone to be able to read them! :D
Ashley Bogner I started writing pretty young just because I enjoyed it, but I didn't really start writing with publication in mind until a few years ago. I've always loved reading, but unfortunately, a lot of the books for teens aren't God-honoring! I became frustrated with not having a lot of new books to read. My mom suggested I write one myself. One of my goals is to write stories that are fun and exciting but that also promote Biblical values. I just really enjoy it, too! :)

Ashley Bogner Keep writing. For me, writer's block gets worse if I abandon the story too long.
Ashley Bogner Right now, I'm finishing up editing my soon-to-come dystopian novel!
Ashley Bogner The best advice I ever received is to write what you're passionate about. Don't write in a certain genre or include certain elements you don't like just because you think it'll attract more readers. If you're writing something you're excited about, it'll shine through in your stories.
Ashley Bogner Hello!

I started writing Reintegration because I love dystopian series, but oftentimes they are dark and depressing. I wanted to write one that, while still a serious story, offers hope and redemption.

The official summary isn't up yet, but the story is centered around an individual who has their memory wiped as part of a brainwashing experiment. A big question the book asks is "where does our sense of right and wrong come from"? We live in a world where the concepts of right, wrong, and morality are becoming more and more blurred. I wanted to write a book that addresses this topic. And thus the plot of Reintegration was born! :)
