I never had it. I am a tidbit scared though if I'm starting a new book. I fear that this is it and I won't be able to create a new novel. Once I conquer that fear and start writing, it all comes to me. But, one thing I've observed is that writing is a bit about practice. The more you write, the easier it gets. People who have writing blocks may be those who are giving huge breaks in between.

You finish your last sentence. You look at what you have in front of you. You have created it. It is yours. You gave birth to those characters, relationships; you watched those characters grow, you cried when they died, laughed when they found love, drew your breath when they dodged danger. The good, the bad and the ugly...they are all yours. And, what a great feeling that is.

Writing is a very competitive world. Do it because you want to no matter what the outcome is. Even if there is one person who reads and likes what you have created, it is all worth it. And, be willing to listen to advice from your readers. Though a writer should keep his/her perspective, I've had great guidance from my readers. I think the best part of writing is its interactive nature, bringing the reader and writer together. I love that.

I am currently working on the fourth book of my Kings series and the first three books on my Drakon series.

I just love to write, it is a means of creating a different world. It is the tediousness and routines of daily life which inspires me to escape it. So, when I sit down with a cup of coffee and put on some nice music in the background, I'm a goner. It does not matter whether I'm in the room with a thousand people, or whether there is heavy chatter next to me. I don't hear it, I don't get bothered by it. I find myself to be transported to my world.
