It depends; some days it's a leaky faucet, where I have to set aside time for myself to write, and force myself to sit down and do it. Other days, based upon something that's gotten me keyed up in my life or in the news, it's more like a fire hose, where I can't wait to sit down at my computer to unleash the words rattling angrily in my brain.

Well, over at The Public Medievalist I'm working on launching our new series on Gender, Sexism, and the Middle Ages. The series is all about deconstructing some of the worst sexist myths that we have about the Middle Ages and showing that humanity has had a complex understanding of what gender means far further back than some might have been led to believe.
I'm also working on a new book with Amy Kaufman called "Misusing the Middle Ages" for the University of Toronto Press. It'll be an undergrad-textbook style book, and we're hoping to have it released next year (fingers crossed!).
