My writing has so many moving parts that I don't really have an issue with this, in general. I don't usually struggle to write AT ALL, I sometimes struggle to write specific scenes or subplots. I normally write what I want to write that day, and come back to the unfinished scenes after I'm ready and prepared to give them my best effort.

Consistently work. Writing is a job, a process, and a LOT of effort. Try to balance the solitude and loneliness of the process with healthy doses of human interaction. If you can manage to write about 5 pages a day, your efforts will quickly add up to a first draft. Then, the real work starts.

Two projects, well, really, three. A short Alex Landon story, which is still untitled, the second Alex Landon novel, called "Enemies Foreign," and a podcast series.

I enjoy writing, so it often isn't a chore I have to make time for. It's also very cathartic for me, so experiencing negative reactions to various circumstances helps me be productive. Lemons into lemonade, I suppose.

I started writing "Enemies Domestic" out of frustration with a lot of things I saw going on around me. The novel has changed quite a lot from that first outline and manuscript, and I'm very proud of the end product.
