If you're working on a project and you seem to have writer's block start writing something else, even for a short time and then go back to the original project. This gives your mind a break from it but you're still writing. If there are personal things in your life that are blocking it try to work on those problems, but also use the writing as an escape from those problems and not let them affect the writing.

Of course when other people enjoy your work, but always remember as long as you like what you write it's a success. It's fun when other people want to discuss my books with me and it's gratifying when someone says something I wrote helped them out.

Don't let your writing become work. Always enjoy doing it. If it's causing you stress you're doing something wrong. It has to be fun. Try to be always working on new projects, be open to suggestions but don't let anybody discourage you from thinking you can be a successful writer! Keep that pen in your hand!

With releasing 4 books simultaneously and 5 if you count "The Teenage and Young Adult Survival Handbook" inside of each, my focus is on getting these in front of as many people as possible.

I originally wrote as a young boy to escape the problems in my house. I write now to both entertain and to help others survive their issues.

For the fiction parts of my books a lot of the ideas I actually had when I was writing as a child and in my teens, which I of course revised when finally writing the books. The nonfiction part, "The Teenage and Young Adult Survival Handbook" is from my own experiences and struggles growing up in an alcoholic and abusive home. It has ideas and suggestions to help others survive these things along with suicide, bullying and self-worth problems like I did and give the readers channels of where to get help from. Both the exciting stories are original ideas and "The Teenage and Young Adult Survival Handbook" being a book within a book to not bring embarrassment to someone who needs that information is unique.
