That's a hard question to answer because of all of the interesting possibilities. I love to travel and have always wanted to take an Italy-Greece Ancient World Cruise. Besides seeing the sights, if there was an open murder case, I would love to be the "fly" on the wall during the investigation, watching as it unfolds.

The next book in Wateroaks series -- River of Hate which deals with the derailments in 1896 over the Ocmulgee River that I reference in the answer to what inspired to me write Acts of Revenge, which is the first book in the series and is a prequel.
I am also writing a thriller, Child of Darkness, that is set in modern day. It incorporates the Wateroaks Series.

My grandfather was an engineer and fireman for the Georgia Railroad. I have always been interested in trains and planes. I had a toy railroad set when I was seven and now have a model train layout (Scale O). My husband and I were visiting Macon, Georgia (U.S.) one day and we took a side trip down to Bond Swamp which is part of the Ocmulgee River. We walked the tracks and the idea came. Then I read about the account of the derailing of two trains over the swamp and took it from there.

Sometimes I go for a walk, even a short one down the hall. Sometimes, I write whatever comes to mind and revise later because the act of writing will lead to more writing even if the first effort is not used in a final manuscript. No writing is ever wasted.

Write every day. Writing is hard work. It takes practice. Read and review other works that are similar to yours. Edit, edit, edit. Keep a scraps file for parts that you do not use in a manuscript. It may come in handy later.
