I'm always working on something, usually several somethings. At the moment my main focus is a thriller based on true and disturbing events that happened to me. To help dispel some of that dark material I'm also working on a lighter work of fiction

I absolutely love talking with aspiring writers. As a teacher I try to nurture and encourage as much as possible. In fact I gave a speech about that exact thing at an event a couple weeks ago. My advice is always to not be discouraged, keep working at it no matter what. There's no one way to write so try different things to find what works best for you. Join a writer's group. And READ!

When people enjoy reading what I wrote! It's scary to share so much of yourself and open yourself up to criticism so when people actually like it, it's a wonderful feeling!

I'm pretty lucky and don't usually suffer from writer's block. I write several books at a time so my problem is just focusing on one and completing it. If I ever do get stuck I find rereading and editing what I'm working on helps.
