The idea for Fire in the North was initially from a Neverwinter Nights module I wrote years ago called "GC1 - Powder Plot". The plot of the book morphed a fair bit, but some of the people and places in the game that are still in the book. I never did get around to writing the game sequel. I have, however, managed a sequel to the book!
