I'm still aspiring myself! But the only thing I can advise is not to give up. As writers, we're going to endure some pretty rough criticism and it's easy to want to give in to temptation and rip up everything we've ever written. Be tough and stick to it!

Learning so much! I enjoy researching obscure periods of history, finding out about people who have overcome incredible hardships or beaten the odds. The more you look into history the more you want to know. It keeps the creative juices flowing.

I go for a long walk. Fresh air, birdsong, and clearing my mind by thinking only of where my feet are taking me helps blow the blockage away.
