Hi Travis,
Thanks for the kind words and the interest in my books! Yes, I had planned for "The Red Witch", the second book in the trilogy, to come out about now. However, I've decided to release the last two books at the same time, and I'm afraid that won't happen until mid-2019.
I want my story to be airtight and my world building solid, and would rather take a little more time so I can give the reader the pleasure of thinking "now I understand why that happened in the first book!" So I'm going to finish the entire story, and then go back to hunt down any inconsistencies or gaps in it.
Much of the second book takes place in 14th century Venice, and I've also been doing a lot of research so I don't include any silly anachronisms in the narrative. I apologize for the delay, and really appreciate that you cared enough to email me. It means a lot to know someone liked my book.
