I'm Scottish; born and bred in Edinburgh but have a love of the Highlands and Islands. There is a Fairy Bridge somewhere which sparked my imagination...as did the dolls in the National Museum of Scotland.

Hm... still see myself as that, but I'd say just write! I spent years starting and never getting past the first chapter because I was constantly going over and over it. The hardest part (for me) was getting part the first couple of chapters.
