It's not really a mystery as I already found a lot of documentation about him (military docs) but my grand-grandfather fought and has been injured during First World War when repairing phone lines on the battlefield. He has been one of those soldiers injured by the yperite gases in Belgium in 1914... He actually died in '43 (lung disease...). A single destiny among lots of anonymous valorous soldiers...

One of the best could be sharing the stories I have in mind with my readers, in order to give them joy, entertainment and hopefully some thrills...
Another one would be the pleasure to wake up every morning thinking that I will work all day long living with my characters...
