The pandemic precipitated two major meeting disruptions: first, the shift to almost all virtual meetings and the second, the evolution to hybrid meetings as a primary way for a flexible workforce to connect. We had already written books that focused on each of those meeting modalities, but we wanted to create the ultimate guide to running an effective meeting, regardless of the platform. That's how we ended up writing "Running Effective Meetings for Dummies," because we know running a productive meeting now is challenging for everyone... not just for dummies. ;)
