Marga, could you please tell me exactly what your interest is in this book? You asked if I would be interested in having you translate it into Spanish. And my answer was: No, I am NOT interested in having you translate it into Spanish. Further, I assume you understand that book's content is protected by copyright. Please respond and acknowledge this. Already I have my books pirated in India, for free downloading. I do NOT care to have it given away for free in Spanish.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hello Marga, Yes, there are some differences in the two editions, primarily because I found errors in the first edition and corrected them when I published the second edition. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "according to Google Books." Do you own the first edition? If so, it is very old. I changed publishers quite a while ago.
All best,
Susan

(view spoiler)[Hi,
My name is Margarita Porras and I am a Spanish translator who is interested in one of your books, Absolution, so my question is: are the rights of the book reserved? I think it would be very interesting translating this series of books.
Thanks in regard,
Greetings. (hide spoiler)]

Hello Margarita. I am the copyright owner of Absolution and all the other books in the Frank Renzi series. So in that sense, yes, the rights of the book are reserved. Have you translated other novels from English to Spanish? What was your arrangement with the authors of those books?

He woke up one morning and found a dead rat in his bed. Was this a Mafia message?

I'm eagerly anticipating reading not one, but two of John Sandford's Prey books: Gathering Prey and Golden Prey.
For a change of pace, I may interrupt them with The Wrong Side of Goodbye, Michael Connelly's most recent Harry Bosch thriller.
Also on my list: Cosmopolis, by Don DeLillo
Having lived in New Orleans before and after Katrina, I really want to read Shots on the Bridge: Police Violence and Cover-Up in the Wake of Katrina by Ronnie Greene)
Those books should keep me busy for at least part of the summer! :)

Well, Bonnie and Clyde are my favorite criminals. I love writing my bad-guy and bad-grrrl characters. Bogy and Bacall in To Have and Have Not are my favorite romantic duo. Who can forget this line?? “You know how to whistle, don’t you Steve? You just put your lips together, and blow.”
She is one of my favorite actresses. What a voice! What a personality! What talent and intelligence!

I've always loved the Gardner Museum in Boston and visited it many times. So when my favorite Vermeer, The Concert, was stolen in 1990, I was devastated. The paintings have never been found. My latest novel, Natalie's Art, is about another heist at the Gardner, twenty years after the previous heist. And it's just come out today!
