Kevin Schillo I'm always thinking of how our world is constantly changing from advances in technology and our improved understanding of the universe. Our way of life is built on the legacy of all those who came before us, and we in turn can leave an even greater world for those who come after us should we act responsibly enough in tending to this world we have been given. I love exploring the full implications of this in different fictional settings.
Kevin Schillo I thought of a scenario for first contact that hasn't been done before and thought of ways that I could explore it and try to take it in unexpected directions.
Kevin Schillo Write the kind of stories that you want to write. Write for yourself above all else. You will never be able to satisfy all readers. One reader may love what you write and another may hate it. What's appealing to some readers will always seem terrible to other readers. Just write something that's satisfying to you personally.

Kevin Schillo My next novel is called The Wayfarer's Arrival and features another first contact scenario in the near future. The first chapter of this novel is featured in my Future Scope short story anthology.
