I bought a Kindle in Nov., have been reading every day.Last night, I closed it for supper, came back to "Please wait a moment while your Kindle starts up." I did, it didn't.Charged it overnight, same thing today. Tapped, pressed finger on it. Nothing happens. Can you please tell me what to do? I have your manual. My email is sharonhoutkamp@aol.com. Many thanks, I need my Kindle.

Joe Malacina Most likely, you can perform a simple hard restart of your Kindle to get it up and running again. To do this, press and hold the power button on your Kindle 15 seconds. This will restart the Kindle and should get it back up and running.

What are you currently working on?

Joe Malacina I have recently finished and released my newest book, the Fire HD Manual for Beginners. The book teaches users how to use their Amazon Fire tablet (often referred to as the Kindle Fire). I have had many requests for this book for some time, and it is finally here. Enjoy!
