I hear from a lot of vegans who really struggle to find vegan options when traveling or eating out. And I know there are also plenty of people who want to go vegan but are afraid that it will be too difficult and that they'll never be able to travel or eat out in restaurants again.
I used have those same fears, but once I finally tried vegan travel I discovered that being vegan actually made travel better, not worse! I have been blown away by the abundance of vegan options I've encountered in cuisines around the world.
In Veggie Planet, I highlight some of those vegan dishes that are part of 11 of the world's most popular cuisines and show just how vegan-friendly these cuisines really are.
I chose to focus on the most common cuisines (think Chinese, Italian, Indian, etc.), so that the book would be helpful not only for people traveling abroad but for anyone looking for a delicious vegan meal when eating out, even in their own home town.

I've just launched my first full-length book, Veggie Planet, so right now I am focusing on spreading the word about that book. I'm really excited to finally share it with the world!
However, I do have a second book project that I will be getting back to shortly. It's called Italy for Veggie Lovers, and it's a guide to Italian cuisine and food culture through a vegan lens.
