If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Ricardo Reyes I would love to go the realm discussed in the Star Trek or Star Wars books. Something about the planets.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Ricardo Reyes I don't have writer's block--I have "putting it off" block. I make myself write as hard as I can. It is a struggle--not procrastinating. But I realize now, that if I want to live my life as I choose to live it--for my own convictions, I Must Write.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Ricardo Reyes Honestly, the power of self-believe goes up and up and up. I believe more in myself and the power of my thoughts and convictions. And I believe in the art, I really do. It all increases when you write.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Ricardo Reyes Just write and write. Don't listen to anyone. Whatever burns inside you is important to write. Then later on, join a writing group to get input. That is what I did. The input helped. Go to meetup.com--they have many groups.
