Freeing my imagination. Letting it run Wild! I remember being younger and being told that having a habit of day dreaming was a bad thing. Considering it now, in my adult years, I whole-heartedly disagree! Those daydreams were future books in motion, so writing is my outlet for all that has been stored away, stifled and dying for oxygen. It's the ability to finally breathe.

Well, I'll offer the best advice a New author can: WRITE. Just-Write. Get it done! That was my biggest challenge was making time to write, but once you do it and form the habit, you won't be able to stop!

I just started writing one day, while at work. I started this novel 7 years ago, I stopped after a few days of writing, then picked it back up for a day or two here or there throughout, and finally picked up and finished writing for good last November. It was after the birth of my daughter, the time was Just right!

With great irony I get inspired while I'm bored at work! Hahaha Probably not the best thing to be doing while bored at work, but honestly there are times when the workload is low and that's when my mind takes off! Interactions amongst other people helps to spark my imagination as well, people watching and the like.

That is difficult. I fell in love with Shana Abé's Drakon series, but I suppose I would love to see the world within the Drizzt series, by R. A. Salvatore. The way he describes the world around his characters is mesmerizing. I would travel and learn magic! I imagine that seems terribly simple, but it's something I would love to do.
