All of my life I have marched to the beat of my own drum. I have been about one thing...me. LIfe has now come to an end as I am strapped to the gurney with the needles in my arm and it is still all about me. "Why me, there are others worse than me, why me?"
The sensation of fluids entering my veins has subsided as I think to myself "why am I so completely awake, I am more conscious than I have ever been. But why can't I see, why can't I hear, where is everyone and what is this torment. It is still about me, I am what matters, no one can try and change me. What is this torment, who will I talk to. This is not what I was told hell was. I don't believe in hell. No this is not hell, this is my place, here by myself. It must have an end, where is the end? I have been here so long, left only to my own thoughts, how long will this last? I am now who and what I hate the most, besides the one who put me here, truly this is hell."

I just write about a part of the book I have ideas about and soon it starts flowing.

Meeting people and getting feedback on what they like and do not like. Learning about other authors in the same genre.
Mostly, I enjoy the learning that comes with writing. It is pure joy for me personally.
Taking what I learn and looking for the connections in the research gives me ideas about things to write about.

If you love to write, or even better, if you love to tell stories or help other people with what you know or have a take on, don't let the nay sayer in your head hold you back.
Realize that writing is only part of the process, you have to edit your text, you have to have at least a line editor go through it (after you have been through it twice and read it aloud to someone and corrected all the errors.) Then you must become a business owner. You cannot expect your book to sell on its own.
Step one, read the book Write, Publish, Read. It has been very helpful to me, warning, the authors are a little earthy but the information is excellent.
Step two, WRITE.
Step three, read as much as you can about self-publishing (unless you are famous you are most likely not going to get much traction with a book regardless of being picked up by a publisher.)

I am currently writing a prequel to Battle Group Titan beyond warp. The prequel is about the development of the warp drive with some background on Dr. Evelyn Reeder and the installation of the warp drive in the earth orbiter.
The second prequel will be about the development and the shell generator with some history on Dr. Leo Bennett and his relationship with Reeder.
I have outlined sequels to Battle Group Titan and will start them once the prequels are completed.

Battle Group Titan is my third book. The first and second books are nonfiction. The first is out of print and the second one is called Raising High Octane Kids available on Amazon.
The idea for the book haunted me for a full year before I did anything about it. I love the story, and I enjoy writing so after a year of thinking about it, I decided to write the draft, that took two months. I did not think anyone would be interested so I just spellchecked it and put it on Amazon.
I realize that was a big mistake, it is actually selling. I am now editing the full text for the third pass and will post it again on Amazon soon.

First of all, I love science fiction, especially technology driven space operas like Stargate Universe.
I was curious about string theory and started reading about it (not that I understand it in any great detail.) I started thinking about what you could do if you could access the dimensions in a particle and that started a period of day dreaming about the shell concept and how it would be a great book.
