My own of course--that's why I wrote it! My world has talking dogs, an opportunity for humankind to start over, new abilities, and the chance for space travel. It isn't that the world of the Endangered Series is without challenges, far from it, but I wanted to create a story with unlimited potential and real people. I grow weary of unending death and dying if there isn't an underpinning of hope.

If I waited for inspiration, most days I wouldn't write. Inspiration is great when you have it, for the other days I choose discipline.

I'm working on the third book in the Endangered Series. The survivors of the Great Dying are on the precipice of another human extinction. The Hunta have arrived, and they've come with a plan and a few surprises. It almost seems the universe has a grudge against humanity.

So far I haven't experienced writer's block. I think it's because I'm not a perfectionist. When I get stuck in a story or can't visualize a character, I write a chapter anyway. Some of my most creative moments are unleashed from directionless writing. Yep, I have to redo some of that work, but I'm no longer stuck.
