Cindy Tanner Thank you for your interest. I added you to the email list =)
Cindy Tanner I cannot remember a time when I wasn't writing in one way or another. Short stories, poems, keeping a journal. I have written something. I think growing up as an only child in a very rural area I had to develop a very wild imagination to keep from getting bored. I'm also an introvert so I like spending my time with books and creating my own worlds and people that interact within them.
Cindy Tanner Getting to work in my pj's.
Cindy Tanner I woke up in the middle of the night with a very rough idea of what When You Were Mine would be about. I knew Harper and Asher. I knew bits and pieces and I spent the next five straight hours writing everything out. It just poured out of me. (It did take three re writes and lots and lots of editing to get to the final version).
Cindy Tanner If you want to go the traditional route be ready for lots and lots of rejections. Learn to not take it personally. If you choose to self publish be ready to multitask! Writing the story is just the tip of iceberg!
Cindy Tanner Candy. Or a bear attack. Seriously, though when I get to a point where nothing seems to be fitting together correctly I will go back until it does. Often scrapping everything after that. Then I will add an action scene. A fist fit. The return of a long lost relative/friend/spouse. Something unexpected that will fit into the story line. If none of that works I eat some candy and try not to cry in the corner.
