Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
T. McKinney-Battle HGTV and one day on Facebook, we were all posting pictures of our offices, and one of the spaces sparked my interest and MONROE+CLARKE was born.

How do you get inspired to write?
T. McKinney-Battle Everything inspires me. Most of the time, ideas come to me in my dreams.

What are you currently working on?
T. McKinney-Battle A new Rom-Com...it's still in progress, so that is all I am going to reveal right now.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
T. McKinney-Battle Don't give up. If writing is in your blood, write it down. I have been writing a long time, but this is the first time in this arena and so far, I love it.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
T. McKinney-Battle Writing. I love to write. There's nothing greater or more worth wild than that.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
T. McKinney-Battle I either take a break or I read a book similar to what I'm writing or I will read something totally off topic.
