Taylor Mills Never stop. If you have an idea, write it down. If you feel it is a silly or dumb idea, write it down and come back to it later. You can never have too many ideas. Don't be afraid to allow your deepest thoughts to penetrate your writing. Those thoughts that make you nervous- those are the ones that mean something, that can give your writing meaning and the ability to change lives.
Taylor Mills The escape! Writing started for me by allowing me an avenue to forget my daily adolescent struggles. I was able to spend hours in the new worlds I was fully in charge of creating. I could make them better than the one I was living in, or I could make them worse as a way of giving me some reassurance that no matter what I was going through it could always be worse.
Taylor Mills The idea for Always-Always came about after my mother passed away. I found myself caught in a storm of emotions, many of which I was uncomfortable with and decided writing would help me understand them. From there, I knew my family's story needed to be told. I wanted to inspire readers to find the strength within themselves, jump off the ledge and go for the wildest dreams. I wanted to help readers going through loss, illness or depression. Ultimately, that is exactly what I hope for Always-Always to be, inspiration.
