Amber Elby Many people tell me that they have ideas for books but don't know where to start. Well, it doesn't matter where you start. Just start. Write something. It doesn't have to be perfect, not at the beginning. Write as much and as often as you can. Write between classes or on your lunch break. Stay up late or get up early to write. Then, after time has passed, reflect on what you have written, and finally make changes. Revise, again and again, until you have something that you like. Then show it to someone who you trust to be honest. Revise even more. Then show it to someone else, and reflect some more, and then keep revising. After enough stolen moments of writing and revisions and reflections, you will have something, but you cannot get to that point until you begin.
Amber Elby I'm working on both Double, Double Toil and Trouble Fires Burn (parts two and three of the Netherfeld Trilogy). I intend to write them both concurrently as one long narrative in the rough stage and then revise and publish them separately. Look for information about their release dates in 2018 and 2019!
