There are too many places to name. I love when a book transports me to a new place every time I open the cover. One day I'm on the coast of California, the next, I'm in Montana or South Carolina. Right now I'm reading a book that takes place in Seattle and I'm right there with the characters. I love that books can do that for us.

I love anything by Barbara Delinsky. Kristan Higgins' books make me laugh. And cry. I'm rereading a series by Jodi Thomas. I also want to read Debbie Macomber's new releases.

I got the idea for the Eden Falls series from travel. I was on vacation in the state of Washington and the story started to develop. By the time I got home, I'd already met five or six of the characters and had an idea of how the town of Eden Falls looked.

I don't really need to be inspired to write. I just get up and do it! I write every day except Sunday's or when I'm on vacation.

Luckily, I've never had to deal with writer's block. I have more stories from roughly drafted notes to almost completed manuscripts than I'll ever have time to finish.
