Writing is an escape hatch. It's often a lot more interesting than the real world and even though awful things happen in my books, writing relaxes me. Yes, weird

Writer's block comes when I don't know what to write next. It sounds simple but I think things through. I imagine the scene and the characters and I walk around with them there until it comes to me. This has worked 100% of the time. My advice to someone with writer's block is focus on your story.
