It came about when I was a kid. I used to play Dungeons and Dragons when I was young, and my favorite roll was of a ranger. But I always felt they needed tweaking a little. So I began making up stories about my character and stuffing them away in boxes.
When I decided to try my hand at writing, I drug those boxes out and plundered through them for inspiration. I ran across one of my old Ranger stories and just built it from there.

Oh from lots of things. Like scenery, games, movies, and books. Even from the everyday conversations, I have with people. It can literally come from anywhere.

I'm currently working on a couple of projects. The most dominant is the exciting conclusion to my book Half-Bree The Last Dhampyr. But I am also working on the next book in my Thorn Caller's Destiny series.
Both of those will be out in 2019.

Never give up. It can be hard at times, and even disheartening. But if you stick with it you will get better and it will get easier.

I try to find something or somewhere that inspires me. Not necessarily inspires me to write, but inspires my imagination. That normally does the trick.
